About the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration

The Directorate of Investment and Company Administration  provides a gate way for entrepreneurs who want to start business and investment in Myanmar.The State has adopted rules,regulations and procedures in line with the political, economy, administration sector and private sector. The department is moving in line with national policy and contributing to national economic growth.

History of Department of Shan State

The Directorate of Investment and Company Administration , Shan State office was opened on 18th August 2014 on Monday at No.(139),second floor, Sao San Tun Street, Zay Paing Quarter, Taunggyi. On 5th August 2015, the office  transfered for ease of communication to trade and consumer affairs’ office, East Circular Road, Yae Aye Qwin Quarter, Taunggyi. And then moved to Shan State Government’s Office on 16th June 2017 to enable more investment activities.Shan State Office was built with the budget of 2018-2019 Capital Expenditure and transferred to Awayyar Fire Balloon Field Street, Kyaung Gyi Su Quarter on 18th August 2019 to accelerate company registration and investment process.

  • To take part in regional and international economic cooperation
