The Shan State Investment Committee meeting (4/2022) was held at Shan State Government Office on 29th September, 2022. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Kyaw Htun, Chief Minister for Shan State Government and Chairman of Shan State Investment Committee. The meeting was also attended by the members of the Committee.
The meeting approved the extension of construction period submitted by the Myanmar Citizen Investment project.
According the Myanmar Investment Law, 22 foreign investment projects with the capital amount of US$ 763.21 million and 81 Myanmar Citizen Investment projects with the capital amount of 1,333,875.66 million Kyats, including US$ 527.96 million are implementing investment activities in Shan State. The aforementioned projects had created 13,169 local job opportunities.
