The Shan State Investment Committee (5/2023) meeting was held on July 24th 2023 at Shan State Government Office meeting room. U Aung Zaw Aye, Chairman of Shan State Investment Committee and other members attended the meeting.
At the meeting, production and sale of soft paper and various types of paper, San Yang Paper Mill International Co., Ltd., which submitted an application for endorsement. The business will have 100% foreign investment with an investment amount of US$ 1.795 million and will be able to create job opportunities for 200 local and 10 foreign.
The Shan State Investment Committee has approved US$ (13.768) million in (6) Foreign investment and (32220.744) million kyats, including US$ (6.158) million in (14) Myanmar citizen investment. These business have created job opportunities for 1162 local and 58 foreign in Shan State.
