Under the guidance of the Shan State Investment Committee, a dialogue session for the development of the MSME sector in Shan State was held at the Southern Shan State Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 27th October 2022.
Dr. Kyaw Tun, chairman of the Shan State Investment Committee, gave an opening speech. The State Director of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration clarified the investment opportunities according to the Myanmar Investment Law. The State Director of Small Scale Industries Department clarified law, rules and procedures. Acting State Director of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises clarified the development of MSMEs.
Continuing, all the representatives who attended the meeting discussed difficulties encountered in the development of the MSMEs sector, the recommendations were discussed in a round table.
